      N.B. Sandra Barker has had to cancel her planned Straw Plaiting workshop at short notice. Hopefully it will be possible to reschedule for a later date.

Feb 23rd Trip: “Who Do You Think You Are - Live” at Olympia

      Cost: £25.00 pp. (non-members £26.00)
      Price includes return transport and admission, plus show guide, WDYTYA magazine and admission to two workshops.

      Departure points: Letchworth GC, Hitchin and Stevenage as usual.

      Note that Stevenage FHS and Letchworth and District Family History Group are now liaising on the provision of trips.

      (in the undercroft of St. Andrew & St. George's church on St. Georges Way)
      Time: 10:30am to 3:30pm
      Cost: Free!

      We will be offering guidance on how to get started in family history research, as well as offering help for more experienced researchers. There will be a number of 'resource points' covering subjects such as researching Irish, Scottish and Welsh ancestors, as well as other topics including Criminal ancestors and Occupations. There will also be access to some of the many on-line resources available, to answer any specific questions that may arise.
